serving others

At Level Creek UMC we are committed to showing God’s love to the world. We believe that God calls us to be the hands and feet of Christ, and that means sharing our resources and spending time in service to our community.

There are regular opportunities for all ages to participate in acts of service.

Some of our Mission Projects include:

First Sunday Food Drive – We are always collecting canned and dry goods for the North Gwinnett Co-Op. Donations can be placed in the Co-Op barrel that is outside the O’Rouke Family Life Center. For a current list of most-needed items, click here.

Summer Lunch Program – We provide lunches for children who need extra meal support during the summer when school is on break. We collect donations of necessary meal items and then gather to pack and distribute lunches every Friday throughout the summer. This is a great project for all ages.

Mission Sunday – On the Sunday after Easter we celebrate our Risen Lord by supporting Rise Against Hunger. In place of regular worship that Sunday, our church family gathers for Holy Communion and then we pack 10,000 meals for hungry people around the world.

Blood Drives - Donate blood and help save a life. We partner with LifeSouth to host regular blood drives on campus at the church.

In addition to hands-on service projects, our church also offers regular financial support to numerous agencies including the North Gwinnett Cooperative, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the North Ga Housing and Homeless Council, and Wesley Woods Senior Living.
